HISTORY
1880   Church built and parish created from Ss Peter & Paul, Bromley and St Mary, Plaistow.  The church would appear to be equipped with a bell.
1887   Stahlschmidt records "Modern church (1880) presumably one bell of that date".
1895 30th Oct. Whitechapel Daybook records the provision of a new bell and clapper. The old bell was taken away in exchange.
