| 1870 | 19th July | Foundation stone of the present church laid. |
| 1872 | 30th July | Church consecrated. |
| 1872 | A set of 8 hemispherical bells was installed in the tower by John Warner & Sons. | |
| 1932 | The present chime of 8 bells was installed by Gillett & Johnston who took the gongs away in part payment. |
