| 1956 | The cracked tenor was recast at Whitechapel, preserving the crown in the church including all the canons & inscription. The dilapedated ringing fittings & framework were removed, the bells tuned, quarter turned & staples drilled out & rehung on transverse beams. Bells 1 and 2 were never weighed. | |
