The Beckenham Journal suggests that a fund was started to put a ring of bells in the tower.  This clearly come to fruitition.
An effort is being made which we trust may be as successful as in Penge, to endow this Church with a peal of Bells.  Various sums have alreadt been promised or received, and The London and South Western Bank have agreed to receive subscriptions to the account of the Sydenham Bells.
